Pediatric Otolaryngology Department is a clinical unit belonging to the Institute of Pediatrics of the Karol Marcinkowski University of Medical Sciences in Poznań. The Department of Otolaryngology, consists of a number of units, i.e. an operating theater equipped with two operating rooms and a recovery room, an otolaryngology ward, diagnostic laboratories and outpatient hospital clinics. The Otolaryngology Department, which includes treatment rooms, an isolation room and 8 patient rooms, enables the simultaneous hospitalization of over 20 people.

 

For over 15 years, the clinic has been a regional reference clinic as part of the General Newborn Hearing Screening Program (WOŚP), enableing audiological diagnostics of pediatric patients since the first days of life until reaching the age of majority. Since 2019, we have been implementing a program for the development of deep hearing loss using a cochlear implants. "
